Art Instruction
COME JOIN THE FUN AT ONE OF OUR ART CLASSES
Art classes available consist of:
DRAWING, ACRYLIC,WATERCOLORS, OILS and CHARCOAL
There are many classes to choose: group, senior, private in your home if locally located and children classes for ages 5-12 (except oils unless private).
Classes are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Classes are held in Douglas, MA. Please call or e-mail for exact location. There is ample parking. Call 508-414-1675 or E-mail to artunderthetrees@yahoo.com to schedule your class. Numbers are limited to 4 students per class.
Classes run 2 hours. You are welcome to bring drinks and a snack. Some drinks will be provided. There is a few minutes set up time and clean up time. I encourage all students to be on time so every student gets the most out of their class.
Handouts, web-sites, rental books, art supply information will be supplied and yes sometimes assignments are given.
Private Classes are scheduled by appointment in the studio or in your home.
Children’s Classes parents of children under 8 years of age are encourage to wait in the conjoining room during class or be in close proximity to their children. Babies and toddlers must be kept safe and in control while in studio.No pets please. There will be an information form to be filled out. I am Coried have worked with children in the Douglas School System for 10 years.
Gallery showings are done once or twice a year to show your creations..
Lessons change seasonally to keep with inspiration and the spirit of the moment.
Students will be encouraged and supported to gain access to their artistic abilities and imagination.
Fees: A two hour class is $25.00 per class. Private classes are $35.00. Children and seniors are $20.00 per class and some materials will be provided however every student will get a supply list to provide their own. There are no long term sign ups however if your scheduled for an upcoming class a 24 hour cancellation is extremely appreciated please. You wouldn't want to show up and I am not there.
I run specials during the year for free classes and half price classes.
